~Nurturing of the Mind and Spirit~
★Why merely speaking English just isn’t enough★
Our international preschool is dedicated to helping raise globally conscious adults.
Our curriculum assures each child a safe and secure structured environment abundant with nature to grow in.
☆This program was designed to leave children looking forward to coming back every day.
Creating the Foundation of an Global Mindset
We aim to provide an environment that not only inspires logical thinking, freedom of thought, and self-expression, but also focuses on understanding the methods of international communication.
Our objective is to create an environment which helps nurture a problem-solving mentality, rather than the ability to answer questions correctly.
Right Brain Development
We’ve implemented a number of right brain training activities, such as 10-minute flashcard sessions, in order to maximize pattern recognition skills.
Immersion Education by Professional Native Teachers
All of our native English teachers are professionals with extensive training and experience in teaching English to young children. On top of being surrounded by English during their time here, children also receive the opportunity to learn numerous skills through the teachers’ English instruction. Thus, they can simultaneously and informally acquire both new skills and new vocabulary.
Crayon Kids Supporters
Crayons Kids was established by education-oriented global business leaders from The Moneo Company’s international network. We have the generous support of both domestic and international professionals from various fields—including our native teachers. Our “Crayon Kids Supporters,” as we call them, each participate in their own way.
Crayon Kids: Creating Opportunities for Everyday International Experiences
We offer children frequent opportunities to have international experiences within Japan by participating in events at numerous countries’ embassies, attending English story time events and much more!
Character Building
We focus on individually nurturing each child and helping them create a positive self-image. We teach them the importance of eye contact, self-confidence, and to love themselves because they are important and because they matter. We believe positive self-image is the basis of good communication skills.
Nature Play
We hope that by instilling an interest in the study of nature, children will have more desire to remain active and enjoy the outdoors. In nature, there are no set answers. The law of gravity was discovered by watching an apple fall from a tree. The four seasons, the weather, and exploring nature teach children the joy and wonder of discovery.
Eurhythmics
Eurhythmics help teach children to move freely by feeling and expressing music with their entire bodies. By doing so, they learn to concentrate and use their imagination and self-expression to unite their body and mind, while enjoying music and polishing their sensitivity to it.
Cooking Skills
Cooking is an important tool for stimulating all of the five senses. The hands are often referred to as the “second brain,” so using them has a direct connection to brain development. And since cooking requires delicate hand movements that can’t be replicated by using toy food, it encourages the development of fine motor skills. Eating the food you made with your own two hands is a very important part of food education and appreciation.
Art
We encourage children to use their second brain (the hands) freely to expand their imagination, power of expression, and individuality through the use of different materials and mediums.
